About Kevin Walsh โ The Reviewer Behind Our Fitraflex Coverage
Hi, I'm Kevin Walsh. I research and review joint-health supplements and everyday wellness products, and I write the Fitraflex Joint Support coverage on this site.
Joint supplements are, in my opinion, the corner of the wellness industry where marketing runs furthest ahead of the science โ and where getting misled can actually hurt someone. My approach is the opposite of all that: I look at a product like Fitraflex with a skeptical, buyer-first eye and tell you plainly what it is, what the evidence supports, what I couldn't verify โ and when you should be talking to a doctor instead of buying anything at all.
A Little About Me
I've spent years in the consumer supplement space โ reading labels, comparing formulas, chasing down what research actually says versus what the ad copy claims.
๐ซ What I'm not
I'm not a doctor, physiotherapist, orthopedist, or registered dietitian โ and I won't pretend to be. You won't find invented clinical trials, made-up joint measurements, or a fictional orthopedic advisory board here. I will never frame a dietary supplement as something that treats, prevents, or reverses arthritis or joint damage.
โ What I am
A careful, skeptical reviewer who reads the fine print and reports the answers plainly โ including that Fitraflex has no published trial of the finished product, per-ingredient doses aren't disclosed, and the vendor's page uses fake urgency countdowns and contradictory customer-count numbers.
How I Assess a Joint Supplement Like Fitraflex
- ๐ Label Transparency โ can I see per-ingredient amounts, or is it a proprietary blend? (Fitraflex: proprietary blend, doses hidden.)
- ๐งช Evidence โ is there a trial of the specific formula? (Fitraflex: no. The NIH GAIT trial on individual ingredients found no significant overall benefit.)
- ๐ฌ Claim Honesty โ does marketing stay inside the truth, or drift into medical claims and fake urgency?
- โ ๏ธ Safety Disclosure โ are interactions and cautions made clear, or buried?
- ๐ Ease of Use โ simple enough to realistically keep taking?
- ๐ฉบ Honest Scope โ where does wellness stop and a medical question start? I always draw that line, thick.
How My Ratings Work โ What 3.9/5 Actually Means
Every rating on this site is earned across attribute categories โ never one vague number, never an aggregate customer count I can't verify. Fitraflex scored: Formula Sensibility 4.2, Dose Transparency 2.8, Evidence 2.9, Marketing Honesty 2.7, Safety Disclosure 3.5, Ease of Use 4.8, Value & Guarantee 4.1 โ Overall 3.9/5.

My Honesty Policy โ 8 Rules You Can Count On
- โ 1. A supplement is a supplement. Never framed as treating or reversing arthritis or joint damage.
- โ 2. No fake experts, no invented studies. Citations are real and linked.
- โ 3. I correct false claims, not repeat them. "As Seen In" logos and countdown timers get called out.
- โ 4. No fabricated numbers. Editorial assessment only.
- โ 5. Safety stays in. Interactions, shellfish warning, 18+ limit โ non-negotiable.
- โ 6. No fear-selling. I won't use anxiety about aging to push a purchase.
- โ 7. Doctor first, always. And never stop a prescribed medication for a supplement.
- โ 8. Downsides stay in. Every review lists honest cons.
An Important Note on Joint Health, Medication & When to See a Doctor
Please take this seriously โ the most important thing on this page. Joint pain, stiffness, and swelling can be caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, autoimmune conditions, injury, or infection. Some โ like RA โ are much more treatable if caught early.
๐ฉบ See a doctor if you have: persistent joint pain lasting more than a few weeks, swelling, redness or warmth, morning stiffness over 30 minutes, joint pain with fever or unexplained weight loss, or sudden injury.
โ ๏ธ The most important warning on this site: if you're on prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, DMARDs, corticosteroids, or any joint-related prescription, do NOT stop or reduce it because of anything here. Any decision to adjust a prescription belongs entirely with your doctor.
How This Site Makes Money (Full Transparency)
This is an independent review site, and some links here are affiliate links. If you buy Fitraflex through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change my assessment, my ratings, or what I tell you โ I gave Fitraflex a middling 3.9/5 and exposed the fake urgency on pages that only earn a commission if someone buys. A commission never buys a better score here.
Honest reviews, honestly funded.
